I wonder if Adam and the Ants plays with your average Gossip Girl fan? They were a late 1970s and early 1980 band that bridged punk and new wave. Seems like an interesting choice. They had some hits, but as far as I know, they were much bigger in UK then the US. Adam Ant is also known as playing the bass in the band Bazooka Joe that headlined the first show the Sex Pistols played. Overall my guess is that if you have Gwen Stefani shaking her ass to anything that’s not sucking, it will play. Maybe it will sell some Adam and the Ants cds to a younger generation, and that would be a good thing.

According to E’s Kristin, Michelle Trachtenberg has not been asked back for the second season of Gossip Girl.

Is Trachtenberg such a bitch that they are not going to ask her back, or are they just going in a different direction?
